ENG. HASSAN ABOUL FOTOUH
CHAIRMAN AND CEO
In 2000, Eng. Hassan joined AFA (BMW Egypt at the time) as dealer principle In 2001, Eng. Hassan was promoted to Sales and Marketing Director and was appointed as Vice Chairman In 2002, Eng. Hassan was appointed as Chairman of AFA. Eng. Hassan has been appointed CEO of Daewoo motors in 2005 (after the acquisition of the remaining 60% held by the Korean side). Eng. Hassan holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Material Engineering from American University in Cairo, attended the BMW Business School in 1999 Graduated from El Alsson International School in 1995.
MS. GHADA ABOUL FOTOUH
VICE CHAIRMAN, MANAGING DIRECTOR
Ms. Ghada started in AF Group in 1998 as Project Manager at Sahari Company for Natural Water. In1999, she joined the automotive business as Executive Board Member of ACVA until 2002. In 2005, Ms. Ghada was appointed as Marketing director of AFA. Ms. Ghada was also a part time instructor of Management at Misr International University. Ms. Ghada obtained her MBA with concentration in Marketing in 2007 from the American University in Cairo and holds a B.A. in accounting from the American University in Cairo in 1998. She graduated from Deutsche Schule der Borromaerinnen, Cairo, 1994.
MR. AMAZEES MATTAR
SALES DIRECTOR AND BOARD MEMEBER
Joined AFA in 1988 as Sales and Marketing Director, he continuously supported the business growth of AFA, managing several initiatives, which led him to his next role as General Manager in 1996. Appointed as board member of AFA in 2002 after demonstrating strong leadership skills, managing for results and embracing new challenges Prior to joining AFA Mr. Amazees spent 8 years in Caterpillar -the world’s leading manufacturer of earth moving equipment Mr. Amazees holds a Bachelor degree of Commerce, major Accounting from Ain Shams University.
MR. IBRAHIM EMIL
MANUFACTURING DIRECTOR, BOARD MEMBER
Joined AFA in 1997 in the Material and Production Control department In 2004, Mr. Ibrahim took over the responsibility of project management. In 2008 he was promoted to be Supply Chain Director In 2009, Mr. Ibrahim was appointed as Manufacturing Director and Board member. Mr. Ibrahim brings over 10 years of multinational experience as Material control Manager at Archirodon Construction and as head of procurement and material control at ABB. Mr. Ibrahim holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Helwan University, and an Executive management Diploma from the American University in Cairo.
